Experienced Domestic Assistant Required - London Barnet Hospital (Flexible shifts, Over 18, DBS)

We’re currently recruiting experienced Cleaners (Domestic Assistants) to support the essential work taking place at Barnet Hospital in London. Whether you’re a parent juggling school hours, a student managing studies, or simply someone who values work–life balance, this role is designed to fit around you.

We offer fully flexible shifts, covering Days (07:00 – 22:00) and Night shifts (22:00 – 07:00).

You can:

• ✔ Work 09:00–14:00, take a break, then return 15:00–20:00; or
• ✔ Pick shorter shifts that fit school hours; or
• ✔ Choose a mix of different shifts on different days.

Example shift options:

• 07:00 – 15:00
• 08:00 – 13:00
• 09:00 – 14:00
• 15:00 – 20:00
• 18:00 – 22:00

Your Role: Making a Real Difference Every Shift

As a Cleaner at Barnet Hospital, you’ll play a vital role in keeping patients, staff, and visitors safe by:

• 🧼 Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, and public areas
• 🧼 Handling waste safely and responsibly
• 🧼 Using cleaning equipment and machinery correctly
• 🧼 Following strict hygiene and safety standards in line with NHS guidelines
• 🧼 Wearing PPE and maintaining a professional, caring approach
• 🧼 Supporting and guiding new team members when needed
• 🧼 This is meaningful work where every shift matters.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must be over 18 years of age.

Consistent year-round availability is preferred due to the nature of the work.

A DBS check is required—if you don’t already have one, we can support you through the process, but having one is advantageous.

Previous 6 months cleaning experience preferably in Healthcare sector is essential
